About the DWS Internship  
The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management. This is an excellent way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations.    

Subject to performance and business requirements, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. Program the following year.

About the Liquid Real Assets (LRA) Team:
The Liquid Real Assets business of DWS offers real estate securities, infrastructure securities, and active commodity investment solutions. With an actively-managed, fundamental, and research-driven approach, we provide these investment solutions to individual and institutional investors. The team consists of more than 30 investment professionals and staff with senior members having long tenures both with the firm and in the industry. The LRA investment approach focuses on active stock selection by local investment teams, with a global top-down overlay of strategic allocation and risk management

As our LRA Intern, you will:

  • Build and maintain database and models of macro drivers and financial data for companies and sector under coverage
  • Assist in conducting regular research on existing holdings
  • Assist in special projects as defined by portfolio managers and analysts
  • Curate and effectively communicate differentiated data analytics by interacting with various parties

The Team is looking for:

  • Organized, be able to multi‐task, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong work ethic and critical thinking skills
  • Basic finance/accounting skills                                
  • Proficiency in Excel and with some programming; (SQL, C#, R, Python, etc.)

Salary
The salary range for this position is $100,000 prorated. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.

Eligibility

  • Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a Bachelors or Masters degree in 2028 (by July 1st).
  • Must have less than 12 months of full-time relevant work experience (excluding internships)
  • Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) during the duration of the internship
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from DWS, now or in the future, to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
