About the DWS P.A.C.E. Graduate Program 
Our 2-year P.A.C.E. Graduate Program begins with an intensive onsite onboarding program with all global P.A.C.E. participants in Frankfurt, Germany. After completion, you will then join your assigned division and complete four six-month rotations there. Throughout the program you will have the opportunity to implement your technical training in a practical setting with expert guidance and to grow your network within DWS.  

As a P.A.C.E. participant you will:

  • Share your ideas, think creatively and help shape the world of asset management
  • Take ownership, make decisions and grow through hands-on learning

As our Traditional Investments Graduate, you will:

Undertake a 2 year Program  within Traditional Asset Classes. A non-exhaustive list of possible rotations includes Trading, Fixed Income Investments, Equities, and/or Xtrackers (DWS’ flagship ETF product).

Depending on where you are placed, your day-to-day responsibilities might include the following.

  • Day-to-day management of traditional asset class portfolios for cash investing to investment grade to high yield to equities
  • Support portfolio managers with trade execution, portfolio trades and credit default swap orders in compliance with trading procedures and portfolio guidelines
  • Monitor public bond market, assess relative value and provide investment recommendations for specific securities that are aligned with the strategy of portfolios
  • Building and maintaining relationships externally with banks, broker-dealers and financial marketplace counterparts
  • Participate in internal meetings with portfolio managers and research as part of the investment decision making process
  • Work on innovative and creative ETF/index concepts in collaboration with index providers
  • Interact directly with key partners such as our clients, index providers and other business partners
  • Contribution to the production and promotion of thought leadership, content and marketing material
  • Run product and market analytics such as wallet studies, product comparisons and peer/benchmark metrics
  • Partnering with client coverage and client facing teams to provide commentary and discuss opportunities, macro events, investment performance and strategies with existing clients and prospects

The Team is looking for:

  • Minimum of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Word and PowerPoint is helpful)
  • Strong interest in financial markets evidenced by coursework or relevant experiences
  • Financial modeling and analysis preferred, not required

Eligibility

  • Must be have graduated or be on track to graduate from a bachelors or masters degree in 2026 or by July 1st 2027.
  • Must have less than 12 months of full-time relevant work experience (excluding internships)
  • Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) during the duration of the Program
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from DWS, now or in the future, to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
