About the DWS P.A.C.E. Graduate Program
Our 2-year P.A.C.E. Graduate Program begins with an intensive onsite onboarding program with all global P.A.C.E. participants in Frankfurt, Germany. You will then join your assigned division in Hong Kong SAR and complete rotations there. Throughout the program you will have the opportunity to implement your technical training in a practical setting with expert guidance and to grow your network within DWS.  

As a P.A.C.E. participant you will:

  • Work with diverse teams across departments and markets to support and enable the success of DWS
  • Share your ideas, think creatively and help shape the world of asset management
  • Take ownership, make decisions and grow through hands-on learning
  • Become an integral part of the global P.A.C.E. community and DWS network

About the Communications, Brand & CSR Team

Our worldwide team of 50+ staff members around the globe combines external and internal communication with various relevant stakeholder groups. We deal among others with media relations, social media, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, internal communications, multi-channel content, and brand management. You will be working in a sub-division with 50+ staff members around the globe. Our remit includes support for the corporate strategy, as well as strengthening the perception and reputation of DWS and constantly renewing our brand strategy and narrative. We undertake ongoing active and reactive media relations, contribute to social media, owned web content, and DWS intranet, as well as public and regulatory affairs work.

As a DWS Graduate in our Communications, Brand & CSR team, you will:

  • Help develop and execute media relations activities on corporate, product, business, and Human Resources topics
  • Assist in coordinating media requests on corporate, product, and market themes alongside external stakeholders, including journalists and PR agencies
  • Support the organization of virtual and in-person media activities (e.g., press conferences and interviews) and corporate/ client events (e.g., town halls, CSR initiatives and luncheons)
  • Establish yourself as the go-to person for internal stakeholders in APAC, including Regional and Local Management, Chief Investment Officer, Business Heads, Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Client Coverage Specialists and Support Function Leads
  • Produce relevant content to support the delivery of external and internal communications across the APAC region on various promotional platforms. Publications include, but are not limited to, press releases, media briefing notes, social media posts, thought leadership speeches, executive messages, internal announcements, intranet articles, newsletters, multimedia production storyboards, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Harness corporate AI tools where appropriate, and learn how to monitor and analyze media sources, conduct research, and generate daily APAC media monitoring reports
  • Implement a well-rounded brand positioning strategy for APAC in close collaboration with Global Communications, including the Chief Editorial Office, Media Relations, Social Media, and Internal Communications teams

The Team is looking for:

  • Already graduated or on track to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in either 2026 or 2027
  • Less than 12 months of full-time relevant work experience (excluding internships)
  • Graduate in Communications, Journalism, Translation, Linguistics, Marketing, or related disciplines
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, coupled with fluency in Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Team player with intellectual curiosity and excellent communication, project management, and multitasking skills
  • Creative thinker and collaborator, willing to work across global teams, functions, and time zones
  • Basic knowledge of the Hong Kong SAR and APAC media landscape and social media, as well as the asset management industry, capital markets, and financial products
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of multimedia production and image-processing tools such as Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • A motivated and dedicated graduate with initial exposure to digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related projects
