About the DWS Internship  

The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management. This is an excellent way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations.    
 
Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. Program the following year.

The real estate team in the UK is an integrated part of the global real estate division. With portfolio and asset management, transactions, sustainability, finance, product, and research, the UK hub operates across all functions of the real estate division, forming one of the main pillars of the real estate business.

As a Real Estate Intern you will:  

  • Experience multiple real estate functions including portfolio management, asset management, transactions and research
  • Supporting the transaction team to appraise key market dynamics in the underwriting of live real estate transactions
  • Analyse major real estate topics to support the formulation of investment strategy, respond to market events and support client requests
  • Facilitate the asset management team in their engagement with current and future real estate occupiers, and day to day operations of real estate assets
  • Supporting the real estate team with the production of internal and external stakeholder documentation and analysis

What we’re looking for:  

  • Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 2 days per week in the London office) from June through to August 2026.  
  • Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2027.  
  • Must possess less than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience (excluding other internships)
  • A keen interest in the real estate industry and global real estate trends.
  • An understanding of significant macroeconomic and capital market drivers of real estate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Statistical modelling experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • An ability to work independently and within a team across multiple real estate functions
